Amy Amy Janet JanetAubrey Plaza was born on June 26 in 1984. She is an American actor and comedian known for her deadpan humor. Plaza can be seen as April Ludgate in "Parks and Recreation". After acting in sketches and improv the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater she began her career on "The Jeannie Tate Show" which was followed by "Funny People", "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World", as well as other web-based series. This is her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza is the granddaughter of Bernadette Plaque, who was an attorney and David Plaza of a financial specialist. She was born in Wilmington in Delaware. Her mother and father are both Irish-born and British. Plaza was educated at an all-girls Catholic college in 2002, in addition to the Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University in 2006. As a senior in her high school years, she was President of the Student Government at the school, and also was a part of Wilmington Drama League performances. Plaza had a stroke back in 2004 when she was entering her second year of her college career. She developed expressive aphasia, and experienced a brief period of the paralysis. The condition has since improved.
